As a winter visitor I love shelling and I rent kayaks or take tours while at Marco. Taking away the ability to rent will make spending the winter at Marco less interesting. I encourage the city to find alternative ways to find parking for the visitors. Also, the city is hurting small businesses in the area. I have not heard that these tours/rentals are causing environmental damage to the islands. Thank you.

There is no need to put companies out of business. You don't let them go from private do ks so you need to keep this for them

Typical government response. Instead of managing a problem which is inherent due to population growth they want to shut it down. Instead of lessening access they need to grow access. Where else can this happen? Are only the wealthy going to able to enjoy the area? Our local government needs leaders willing to problem solve and not just figure heads who are quick to make horrible decisions.

You want to expand transit to the public beach access but shut down local businesses that bring in revenue? I think we need a whole new set of City Council members.

Please do not take away from small businesses and tourist. We all need each other to survive. Marco island is such a great place to visit and fish and shell. Brings in revenue for the community, keep the parks the way they are. Please and thank you!
