The main reason I come to Marco and spend money in Marco is to use the tours that go out of the pass. Taking that away takes a reason to spend my money there. I always spend money at stores and restaurants when I go and not to mention the hotels.

The park should be accessible for all uses and people. nobody should be not aloud to use the ramp or parking.

The 10K islands are the only reason I even come to Marco Island. We spend thousands of dollars a year touring this beautiful part of Florida.

Tourism is the livelihood of many of us who work and/or live on Marco Island and in Collier County. This would directly impact dozens of small businesses and the employment of local tax payers, let alone those who choose to spend their hard earned money to vacation here. This is a very short-sighted solution to an ongoing infrastructure problem. The county should be using tax dollars to expand these county parks/marinas to accommodate businesses and visitors. Add more parking in these locations, public transportation from off-site locations, and more. This shouldn’t be put on the backs of the businesses the county permitted to utilize these places to begin with. Very sad to see this happen.

Very sad for all of us that love beach combing and have no other way to explore these beautiful islands, other than a tour.

Why would you not permit tourists to enjoy your area. It seems as if you are trying to make Marco Island a private community.

https://www.paddlemarco.com provides the best kayak tours and rentals in the area. This is the worst thing possible to do for tourism, tax revenue and families.

I travel to Marco Island each January to indulge in my love of shelling. Please do not halt kayak tours out of the park. Respectful tourism is critical!
