Petition to Continue Commercial Activity at Caxambas Park

Keep all public access points open to commercial boating rental businesses! This is extremely important to tourism!

These tours welcome people to our beautiful state. They show people what we hold dear and educate them on the coastal ecosystems. Hopefully they take this information home with them and pass it along. Everyone will want to protect this area. It is only through first hand experience that you learn to love and appreciate.

These captains need a place like this to pick up customers. With out this they will all go out of business do to not having a place for pick up

I enjoy visiting Marco Island and all it has to offer. I enjoy the shelling trips. I travel from PA just to go shelling there! PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATIZE THE BEACHES!!! If you do, I’ll be taking my travel plans elsewhere!

I was just there at Caxambas Park Marina and love seeing all the commercial business there. These people are providing tours for all to see and enjoy nature. I will be so sad to see this end. Hope they reconsider.

People run there businesses out of the boat ramp. I do personally and it would kill all captains and tour businesses. It’s not the locals it’s the people that come visit that cluster the boat ramps and do not obey the laws. The county would lose tons of revenue just from captains and their clients buying from the ramp.

Please allow free market enterprise and these wonderful small businesses we all benefit from

This is ridiculous. You are putting honest working people out of business.

Please delay action until a local resident & business operator task team can develop recommendations for the city and county to consider. Access to the 10000 Islands is limited and this action should not be taken lightly.

Not cool! Shutting down small business access that I’m sure some locals participate in as well as out of towners. Like me! High rise condos can take up beach and water access but not the small businesses??? Come on. Please do the right thing and keep the access open.

Save the boat tours

These are good people running good businesses, not everyone wants to go to Disney or crowded venues and just want to experience Florida's natural beauty! Don't shut them down!!

Support local business and Local fisherman . Keep Miami out . They are destroying everything!! Toll for the east coast .

Please don’t shut down access, can’t wait to be able to schedule She’ll Tour!!

Keep our tourists coming here. They enjoy all of these outdoor activities.

I can't believe this is about to happen? This is totally backwards to promote tourism. We have taken tours from these companies and created many wonderful memories.

Shelling and kayaking is a big draw for myself and many of my friends. Please don’t do this!

So let’s take away from people who actually live here full time and grew up here so the snotty rich dicks can have there New York and California here in our great state and town. Taking away from people who actually live here is a sick joke and you should be ashamed.
