Petition to Continue Commercial Activity at Caxambas Park

We personally use Caxambas boat ramp for our personal boat but we found out about it from an amazing shell tour that taught us so much about saving the environment and how to appreciate this beautiful area. If these companies are not able to operate I’m concerned of the ripple affects this will have to the environment, the economy, tourism, etc. Please reconsider! These companies are the lifeblood of this area!

I love coming to the island and taking shell tours. There needs to be a public park for recreation. Locals as well as visitors use it.

We don’t want these people to loose their livelihood and as a “tourist, I don’t want to miss the opportunity to participate in these activities.

Please don't ban shelling tours and the like in Marco Island. This will really limit revenue from tourism snd be devastating financially.

I come all the way from Minnesota to enjoy your beautiful island including the tours that leave from the park. Don’t change it.

I have enjoyed using this area for quality time on the water. Is safe and clean. I appreciate the boat owners for taking my family out to see the beautiful islands and wildlife around Marco.

I live in Marco and when company comes to visit I take my kayak out and rent more so we can all enjoy. Please allow them to continue

Taking away access to tour operators will fast track the island further up the wrong path.

We need the market to determine the supply and demand for all businesses and not the Government, government are to allow the free flow of commerce and tourism and not contain it

I come down from north Naples to visit in the 10,000 islands. There are no alternatives to this location. Please do not reduce access to this beautiful part of our county!

Please don't take away my family business and all we have worked so hard to pass along to our son. This is literally his inheritance. So many tourists some to Marco Island and Naples to enjoy the water and tour companies need access to it to pick uo.guests. Public boat ramps are our only option as the Private Marinas have no compete clauses from huge corporations. It's so unfair.

Needs to remain open

Commercial fishing guiding and other activities bring lots of visitors to the area. They also visit shops, rent lodging, and eat at restaurants while in the area

Why would you dream of stopping tourism in our beautiful state. This would be so many of our hard working Florida's out of work.
