Implementing this will effect the local economy (tours, restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc.) Some thought should be put into this before making any kind of decision.

It is absolutely critical we continue the education and discovery of our local ecosystem.
Ecotourism is a lifeblood of this area and shelling incorporates that education un the process. It is WRONG to penalize these entrepreneurs due to the profound ignorance of politicos.

People visit this area specifically for the various tours! Some of the islands can only be accessed by boat. Not everyone can afford their own.

This park and it's boat ramp/docks are a much used and enjoyed setting for valuable city commerce and enjoyment of residents and tourists. Zoning change should be made to allow commercial use.

There has to be other ways to solve parking problems. I can't imagine you think causing business that cater to tourists to close would be an acceptable answer. If the shelling tours to the 10,000 islands close up I wouldn't be coming to the Marco Island area. These tours are what I enjoy. I don't think you realize hoe many people enjoy these activities.
