Petition to Continue Commercial Activity at Caxambas Park

This is one of our favorite shelling spots! We have been over to the Islands about 15 times & supported the locals. Please don't close down this adventure.

Mom & Pop business must survive

NO.

I visit Florida specifically to shell. Termination of this amenity will result in a reduction to your tourist industry. Locals alone can’t sustain your community , I live in a ski resort and am a business owner, I know.

This is very important as a visitor I rely on all the things to make my stay informative and enjoyable!

Please allow residents and tourists to continue on making a living and enjoying the beautiful water sand islands. Thank-you.

Keep it open to commercial traffic and visitors like me

Allow only Marco Island or Collier County businesses/residents to use Caxambas Park.

Small business is key to Marco tourism and residents alike - we must take care of them!

I am a condo owner on Marco Island. It will be such a loss as part time resident and also to our renters to no longer have these water activities available at this public landing. I was just at the landing a month ago with plenty of parking and a jet ski tour launched in and out of the landing very quickly and was not causing a disruption.

I'm signing this petition for my friends from both Ocean Soul and SunSational Shelling Tours who are both small businesses that have space over at Caxambas Park. They both need the spaces for their 2 small businesses to survive since the owners of both of the 2 small businesses are residents of the city of Marco Island.

Please allow commercial boaters to utilize these ramps!

Who’s decision was this? The board? I am a small business owner as well and this will change the experience of the guests coming to Marco. How can I help? What else can be done? Please contact me if there is anything that can be done.

Shame on you Collier! This move will be utterly devastating for these businesses, their families and the thousands of tourists whose money spent feeds the island’s economy.

Please don’t stop the rentals, shelling etc from using the marina

I am a Naples property owner, and we need these small business owners to provide access to the barrier islands.

Save the parking spot for the residents and kick out the tourist I completely agree. Good idea.

Please do not destroy this opportunity for visitors to see these beautiful sights myself included. I love visit all sights in Florida hope to move there but I do not support this. This is America and open for all citizens as long as they respect this land.
