Fr Fediv is has been responsible for bringing the people of Ukrainian Orthodoxy back to the orthodox church which has been void of parishioners for over 15 years. He is a caring spiritual leader for both the elderley and young. He is highly regarded and respected in not only the church but in the Ukrainian Community of Qld.

The priest is the best thing that happened to us in a long time we can’t loose him he done so much for community and people .

He is fulfilling an important role. Let there be consistency for people in need of spiritual need.

I want to express my deep disagreement with the decision not to extend the contract of our priest and to send him and his family back to Ukraine. Father Yuriy has been a wonderful spiritual leader — sincere, compassionate, and deeply involved in the life of our parish. He has brought people together, offered support to those in need, and has played a key role in uniting our community, especially during these challenging times. This decision feels not only unfair, but also raises serious concerns. If someone is actively trying to remove such a strong and respected leader, I can’t help but feel that there may be other motives behind this action — whether it’s a personal grievance or an attempt to hide or silence something. Whatever the reason, it doesn’t reflect the values of our community. I believe our priest deserves to stay, continue his mission here, and be supported by the people who value and trust him. I stand firmly against this decision and ask that it be reconsidered in full transparency.
