We need to go back to the standard A- F grading system

Robert, i also called two universities - one in state and one out. They both said this will represent a problem comparing applicants. They also said, which I didn’t think about this - it will also have an impact on scholarship funds.

i had contacted 9 collage admins".9ct,vt.mass.new hampshire," and they all said they would note accept anything but an alpha/numeric grade/g.pa.. so why go through all of this to then resubmit using alpha/numeric.

We need to go back to our regular grading system.

This system should be changed

I'm a parent. I like the new standards. I can drill down to exactly what my child needs to work on in a given class. When the time comes for him to graduate, there are standards on how to convert to a GPA. Other than the initial discomfort if a new system, I don't see a problem yet.

Please bring back the letter grading for the sake of our children.

Luckily I graduated before this grading system affected my graduating class, but as a future teacher myself I feel that this grading system only hinders students and does not effectively prepare them for college.

Have we seen a decline in our students getting into colleges due to the grading system?

This is a problem that isn’t going away. It is only going to get worse. I have not heard one educated reason for the change to this. Is it a national change or just a change by someone locally so they can say I did that?

I a m very against this grading system, it is affecting many students' careers and I can't take that. I along with a friend have been fighting against this for a while by going to Board of Education meetings and more, I will keep fighting for what's right.

Please go back to the old grading system of A,B,C,D,F ...... Windsor locks should have enough confidence in our educational system to know that our kids are getting an amazing education and dosent need and weird grading system to help them with college.please stop changing things around keep it old school the way we all know it should be...
