GPA average will help for college entrance, scholarships, and giving the students something to work towards.

The WINDSOR Locks school system has really gone downhill. I am so grateful my kids are grown adults now and not still students. I really feel for the kids going through it now.

Kids need to learn what real life is all about. When they become college students, their teachers will not baby them like our town's education system does. They will pass or fail. When they become adults and get jobs in the real world, they will either succeed or fail. No employer will keep a failing employee who can not learn and grow or take responsibility for their mistakes. This educational grading system is a huge disservice to our children and probably one of the worst ideas ever.

The lack of a constantly tracked GPA and accurate grading system has put out children's future at risk. We can no longer accept the status quo. This broad based grading and learning system is a gimmick used to make our town look better in state demographics, when all it has done is rip creativity out of the classroom and the teachers hands. We need a fresh change and new leadership to right this ship and save the future of our towns school system
