While I understand the changes they made to parking, I wish they had just done it a little differently. Commuters did need more parking but by making residential parking a free-for-all it royally screwed over residents of Moore and New dorms. Cheel should be for new dorms and Moore, with overflow of our residential parking into lower cheel. The quad parking should be for freshman and their overflow should be walker. Commuters should get all the front rows of Cheel. Employees should get Moore and CAMP. Apartments seem to be ok because they aren't complaining too much. If they are looking to get cars out of cheel lot for hockey they should incentivize parking in Moore on weekends. For example: randomly selected residential recipient parked in Moore on weekends who remembers to move their car on Monday will earn a $20 cash prize. While this may not solve everyone's problems it may help.

Clarkson has made parking nearly impossible. I've had to circle lots for 20 minutes just to find a space to park in. With winter coming it's going to be absolutely ridiculous to expect us to park so far from our dorms in the extremely cold weather Potsdam gets. Parking needs to be switched back to how it was last year.
