Women should be given the right to choose! Hospitals are for sick people, not healthy women birthing healthy babies

Denying women access to homebirth, or even any birth with an IM, puts women and babies at risk.

Everyone deserves the right to choose their birth journey. Midwives are birthing specialists. .....let them do their job. They don't schedule births around golf games, holidays, weekends away.....like other medical folk do!!

All my children were born at home. One was 9lb 10oz! No dramas no crisis mentality. No medical interventions. Nature knows best. We cannot let insurance companies dictate our way of life.

Women deserve a choice where to give birth. Either make it an option at every public hospital through a caseload program like at Casey and Sunshine or give private practicing midwives Private Indemnity Insurance options.

Women have the right to choose how we birth. It's not a medical procedure, it's the most natural thing a woman can do. This needs to happen

Extend the exemption! Get rid of all the "catch 22" red tape before it causes problems! Either streamline all legal processes for the safety of midwives & the families they serve, or better yet, simply decriminalize the work of all birth attendants & stay out of their, & their clients' business!

Midwives should have access to PI insurance ... every woman deserves the right to choose a hospital or homebirth. Personally I had 2 hospital births & 1 homebirth .
