No other profession would be held to ransom like this for so long. Thanks to Nicola Roxon in her parliamentary position and breaking a personal promise to me there has been no further progress. Midwives have the right to provide private personalised services the same as any other profession Time for reasonable decision making.

I am a midwife & id be terrified if i wasnt covered by Indemity insurance .Please give private practising midwives indemnity insurance or excemption from cover so they can maintain their registration .

I had home births supported by the most amazing midwives. Women have the right to choose the kind of labournandnsypport they want. Don't fake that away from them

I support independent midwives. Let all women have a choice in childbirth. Please put in a permanent exemption or else make PI available and affordable for home births.

I believe it is important for women to have a choice in where they birth their children. Midwives need to be supported by PI insurance to enable them to help women birth at home with expert support and understanding. Please make sure that midwives can continue to do the work they are trained for. Thank you!
