Very essential to have choice to birth where you feel most comfortable. I was lucky to have my first child with the Community Midwifery program in WA and it was brilliant and affordable.

Private midwives are so important and do an awesome job. My own experience in both births of my children with private midwives was the best any woman can have. To stop private midwives attending women in their choice of giving birth is going back in time, and just again a control issue of the money making and profit searching entities.

It is important to maintain options of place of birth for women with a Carer of their choice.

Private midwives do incredibly jobs and offer women options that medical system doesn't. Please allow them to continue to do this

I am to old to have children now, But I believe it is your chose to be able to have your child where ever you want. Assistance of midwife would be better than people having home births with no assistance, which is what the government is pushing people to do if a midwife has no insurance. Once again government we are not suppose to be a communist country but you sure are making it like one. I can't believe you are now taking away the rights to have your child at home safely. Wake up you idiots

birthing is such a wonderful thing and women and their families should be able to make choices to have their babies safely and peacefully either at home or in centres or hospitals. Midwives able to attend home deliveries is central to us being able to make those choices.

Denyimg women and their families the opportunity to welcome their baby into their home will make unassisted home birth a risk many will take. Please support families to make decisions that are right for them, and for some this is homebirth.

Birth is the most transformative experience a woman will ever have, therefore it her sovereign right to be able to birth where she chooses. For many woman, an uncomplicated homebirth is entirely possible and Midwives are a crucial part of this experience.

home birth is hughly popular in the UK and all over the world. Lower incidence in intervention than if you have your child in hospital. It needs to be kept legal and insurable to prevent women to be forced to take risks to get the birth they want

All women have the right to birth at home and midwives need the insurances to be able to provide this service and feel safe doing so. I had my baby at home and it was the best thing I ever did. Please provide PI Isurance or an exemption. We need home birth midwives!!!
