Do what is just, moral, humane. Keep that store open and update it to mirror the ones in wealthy neighborhoods.

Please keep this store . It has history and the only store on that side of town !!!

I think it should stay open so people on that side of town will have a grocery center to shop at. A lot of people who live in that area don’t have cars to travel for groceries.

Discussing. At the very least let another store take over the building. Which Kroger is Springfield will you close next?

I'm deeply sadden about the news. I am also sad for the employees who are always friendly & very personable. Southside always gets bad reviews when a business leaves the area, high crime , hire insurance rates ect. I hop it's not replaced with sa substandard store like what happened when Big Bear left in Southern Village.

Please reconsider this closing as it is the only available store for hundreds of individuals and families in this area.

I really love the location of this store. If you get rid of it all of us will stop getting are stuff at Kroger. And we will go to Walmart. Even though they don't have what we want.

Taking this store out of its location would be an absolute mistake. The community needs this food source.

Why would you close the only store within 15 minutes of this area. You dropped the ball on the new Kroger on Rt 72 only to close the only food source do a lot of people! Very sad!!!

Closing the S. Limestone Kroger will create a food desert in this part of Springfield. There are no other grocery stores in this neighborhood.

Integrity: “We act in accordance with our values, even when it’s difficult.” Make the right choice Kroger. Stay in the South Limestone community that needs you.

My Father's family lives in Springfield and he used to work close to this store. Closing stores in neighborhoods that already are having food access issues is criminal when most folks depend on these stores for food. We have all together taken any semblance of humanity out of the relationships that businesses have with the communities that they are in. It saddens me that we have to beg corporate elites to stay in a neighborhood that they know should have a grocery store. It saddens me that the stores that do remain are pathetic looking compared to the ones in affluent neighborhoods. When are we going to start looking at the humanity in communities as opposed to the bottom line. Food access is crucial.

Hummm... The opposite of gentrification. But the result is the same... intentionally trying to disable a group of people.
