The South Limestone Kroger is an important part od the Southside spring field community as there are senior citizens as well as low invome families in the neighborhood who can't afford alternate transportation to the other Kroger locations throughout the city. Instead of closing the location permanently I think coming up with a proper plan to renovate and restructure the location would be a more viable option to the city

How unfair to the community that has made the store sustainable in their monetary wealth

I hope they don’t close it. I don’t live over there but I used to and there are no other stores around there anymore. Some people don’t have a way to get to any other stores to get what they need.

There are some people that depend on this store. I don’t think it should be shut down. Not everyone has transportation. I know a lot of people that walk to this Kroger’s to provide food for their families.

The people need the store, it’s been a land mark. Plus a convenient’s for the community. Taking it would be as if. Taking food out of many children’s mouth.

Keep this store open. Some of the employees need to walk to work and would not have transportation to other Kroger stores.

Kroger on the south side should stay open. As a person who once struggle with transportation who would walk to the Kroger on limestone because is the closest. Now I believe there is alot of people who can say the same they struggle with a transportation.

My Grandparents are 80 & 90 yrs old.
My Grandma still drives to the store and grocery shops.. She lives by that Kroger's on S. Limestone. It'll be very heartbreaking if she has to drive across town to shop.

My grandmother lives less than a half mile from this Kroger. When her family is working or doing life sometimes her only way of getting groceries is to walk to this store as she is 81 and no longer drives. She is among many in this same predicament. Some employees at this store have been there for as long as the store has been open for this same convenience. Do not do this to them! Instead upgrade this Kroger! Remove the liquor store to get rid of the riff raff and put a pharmacy inside or expand the Whole Foods and plant based food section.
