I am signing as both a regular shopper at this location as well as someone who cares about the people on this side of town, many of whom have no transportation. Please reconsider closing this store. If closed, a valuable resource for the residents of the south side of Springfield will be lost.

Where’s the compassion and humanity!! This store will obviously lessen the food resource for the local citizens of this community. It’s not rocket science! Make decisions that make sense.

It would be devastating to take away the only grocery store on the south side for people who have no transportation

We need Kroger's on south limestone some of us have to walk to the store and theirs no other Grocery Store in that area there's so many People that won't be able to go to the other side of town. Please think of other people and put your self or your elders in our place were you can't get things you need for every day living

Springfield is known as an aging town, mostly people were born in the 70's or before. The S. Limestone location serves thousands of ELDERLY, DISABLED and LOW INCOME families, most of which who do NOT have access to a CAR. Many WALK or us PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION that only runs Monday-Friday until 6 pm. Can you imagine trying to get Ice Cream, other dairy products or frozen foods in 90 degree weather on a BUS, IF you are lucky enough to be able to AFFORD A BUS? Many of these people are already having to CHOOSE BETWEEN GROCERIES AND MEDICATIONS AND KROGER DECIDES TO MAKE THEIR LIVES MORE DIFFICULT? Is this OUR REWARD for being LIFE LONG KROGER CUSTOMERS?

Access to fresh food I’d extremely important. This would negatively impact those without transportation as well as their health.

I think closing this store will cause huge problems for people on this side of town. That would me no one who get w.i.c could get formula for 2.5 miles

If you take away this Krogers, you will be creating a food desert in this area. The petition says hundreds of citizens. There are thousands! that will be impacted by this. Sounds like some kind of sour grapes over the proposed Superstore that never happened. The south side community needs this store to stay open!!

The corporate office should be ashamed. Clean the store up so it looks like the one on Main Street.

This location helped my mother put food on the table just by walking to the store. This location was convenient for us on the Southside that had no other way to get to a bigger store on Bechtle. The location could use some repairs but overall this location had benefited akot if residence on the Southside that has no firm if help nir transportation. Consider fixing this location rather than closing it down.

I have lived in Springfield for over 30 years and the South Limestone Kroger has ALWAYS been there. When all the other groceries left the area, Kroger was still there!! It seems odd to me that Kroger has remodeled and revamped every other store in Springfield several times, but the Kroger on South Limestone is still the same as it's always been. If they want more people to come to the store, they need to invest in the store and show the customers that are there (and have ALWAYS been there) they are just as important as the customers who visit the Bechtle, East Main, and Derr Road locations. Please do not shut this store!!

This location needs to stay, or hundreds of people will go without the essentials they need. Many people on this side of town don’t have transportation to other stores, nor should they have to drive that far just to go to the grocery store. All of our stores are packed and busy anyways, so it will definitely disrupt the flow of going to the grocery store even more.

The only store on that side of town that families can get food to feed their children, and themselves. South limestone only have the fast food on the road even then it's a farther walk . Can't expect for people to have transportation. Money just don't grow from trees government pushes people to eat well but yet taking away the only store that family can get supplies for the home and to by healthy meals . Not every person have the advantage to have a car or drive there's people with disabilities that limits that or low income homes that restricts reliable transportation. This the only store that the south side families have . As a family own company Kroger's should understand and leave that store running for the people that needs that store .
