Their are a lot of people in the neighborhood that don't have transportation so they walk to and from Kroger's and their's a clerk that works there who's been there for years walks to and from Kroger's

People in the community rely on the S. Limestone Kroger’s. Many customers walk to this location without it I fear they won’t be able to get fresh food.

I know many people that live on the south side of town that will have difficulty getting groceries once the store closes.

This is the only grocery store accessible to many people who dont have reliable transportation. Many of these people have to walk, I've seen elderly people riding electric scooters, and some riding bicycles to get groceries Please dont close this store. Think of all these people that it would affect in an awful way. Please put the well being of all these individuals first

Kroger’s is not thinking about our community.

I am very troubled by the Kroger Company’s decision to close the only grocery store with fresh produce serving the south end of Springfield - effectively creating a food desert for the community. A company’s ability to be profitable and successful is also the result of quality customer service for the communities in which they reside.

Please don’t shut down the only ( I say this with knowledge and experience of walking to this store for food ( the one meal I had so many days). Reconsider your decision and work with our community to stay. Maybe if we (you and I) look deeper than numbers and making money since the beginning of trade. There has to be another decision to become aware of our communities and life.

I cannot believe they would close the ONLY grocery store on the south end.

Taking that store puts many people in a worse position than they are already in. The store has been there since I was a child to close it is a blatant act of racism and poor decision making by city officials.

The people in this neighborhood have the right to a good grocery store! Some do not have vehicles and have to walk! They pay taxes, have children in schools, are neighbors and friends! Please rethink your decision to close this store!

If you really want to improve this end of town, letting one of the biggest businesses there leave is not a good idea.

We need a store on the South limestone st. After this store is gone. What's next Family Dollars, Big lots. They fast food restaurants. The South side needs this store to feed the people. Or put a Save Alot there.

I will no longer be shopping at the marketplace opened in Marysville, where I live. All communities deserve access to fresh food. This move lacks integrity, and I will not support it.

Kroger bought houses in my neighborhood to build a new store and then backed out, leaving our neighborhood with boards on houses and dirt makeshift roads. Now, you want to close the nearest store leaving all these people who live close to me or even further out in the country with no store to even walk to. Some of our neighbors walk the mile and a half to go to Kroger on South Limestone. Kroger will leave thousands without food by closing this store. I am disgusted that this was even an option.
