For many this closure will be a terrible loss. Many walk to this location with no
other source of transportation.

I have shopped at this Kroger since 1980. The workers are the best! Please leave this store here!

Kroger is very important for this part of town. You have the young and old walking to the store because they have no transportation or bus fare. The store needs to stay. People will starve. There is nothing close for the people to be able to shop. It will hurt a lot of low income families and let’s think about the children. Please leave the store. Thank you

I used to love on this end of town. Residents here need a local place to shop. Not everyone has the resources to travel miles to get food.

The closing of this Kroger's Store will "rob" many needy people of access to Fresh Foods. This isn't the first time, Kroger's has done this, in a 10-15 mile radius of another one of it's Stores! Ironically, both Stores served some of the most impoverished people in their area...The elderly, People of color, "walking communities" and, families with children. There is absolutely nothing within miles to replace the Kroger's on Limestone St., in Springfield and, Kroger's will NOT sell it's property to another Grocery business!!! This IS SHAMEFUL!!!!!!!!!

You should not be closing the only grocery store for thousands in a community. Some of the people on this side of town will have no means to travel elsewhere to obtain food. This definitely appears to be calculated discrimination against the poorer community of Springfield.

There are at least 7 full groceries Main St and North and this little South Limestone location is the ONLY grocery south of Main St. So many depend on this location even clear down to Cedarville!

I do not ship at this location, but I do see quite a few people walking to and from it for their groceries. This is going to flood the other area stores, and I will choose to shop at another grocery competitor, this is truly leaving the south end of town with no grocery options, just a ton of fast food that's not healthy! I think what this store needed was a remodel, all of the other area stores got a remodel, and this one was just left behind in the dust.
