I don’t agree with the closing. It’s the only grocery store on that side of town. Also people are going to be trying to walk to the store cause they have no transportation and buses stop running early and it is way too far to be trying to walk to. They have a Kroger’s on the East, West, and the North so why try to shut down the South? It’s crazy!!!

It’s the only grocery in an area that relies solely on public transportation. Take it from the area and a whole lot of people will be affected negatively as a result.

I live in this neighborhood, I use this Kroger’s on a regular every day basis sharing this Kroger’s down would be detrimental to the southside area. And I bet the liquor store has its way of staying here on the southside

We are regular Kroger's customers--do thousands of dollars worth of shopping there. We are strongly opposed to this closing which will greatly hurt the neighborhood and make getting groceries VERY difficult for a number of people. Please reconsider your decision which will hurt so many people.

If the store is closing and they are not pinning another store in nearby then the people that do not have transportation in cannot get the food they need so are they going to supply free rides to the store or are they going to provide free food delivery

This is a residential low income neighborhood with many single parent homes and elderly households. Please either reconsider closing or selling the building for a reasonable price so another grocery can provide fresh foods for the local community.

The store is vital to the residents on the South Side of Springfield who are already underserved.
