I hope that a Union get the leadership if the regulations are still not ready to involve....Regulation are slow and may change if some leaders get involved into this new reality of the labour in CN! Asking questions...and be curious. I invite all workers (SPRAT and IRATA) to show positive attitude and open mind too!

This industry must be regulated before it becomes a reactionary necessity.

This development was inevitable. The sooner the better. It will benefit the industry and inform those who believe rope access is "new" and unregulated.

This is a great step for Ontario, and will benefit rope techs in Ontario.

I'd feel a lot safer working in Ontario if ripe access, which is one of the safest access methods, was recognized.

I would love to work as a rope technician in my home province of Ontario, however current OH & S regulations have forced me to western Canada for work.

As a Rope Access Technician working in Canada I believe Ontario needs to accept and regulate rope access to both protect workers and allow for the use of this safe and efficient means of access.
