For them to not be part of the theatre’s future after all they have done, especially through COVID would be unjust.

Pls make the effort to keep a team who is in the arts industry and willing to do it onboard. We only have one theatre in Paarl.
Keep Lionel and Anel as managers of this theater. Instead of implementing changes in management that clearly works and has built a solid reputation over the years, why not support them with funding and/or other initiatives to maintain the ground and uplift love of the arts with the youth etc. Careful consideration needs to be taken, as this isn’t just a finanacial decision with all the stakeholders involved.
They have done a fantastic job so far with keeping the arts alive at the theatre. Why stop something that works well and have so much meaning to so many people - artists, guests and so many more. This is not just a job for them, it's a passion!
These two are really the best I have never attended so much shows at the ou meul Teater because of them. Will be a sad lost for arts if they are no more part of the management team. They do so much more for the community. Please reconsider your decision because of them more marginilised people are doing arts.
Both my daughters do drama and theatre with Anel at the Ou Meul. They are so sad that it has to end.

We love the Ou Meul Theatre and we need the current managers to stay on for the benefit of culture lovers of Paarl and all the surrounding towns. They truly ARE magnificent in managing the theatre.
