Ms. Cindy has been such an amazing director and mentor for our children. She has also been extremely respectable and always gracious towards the parents at Sunrise. This news is very disheartening. If she is not reinstated immediately, the school will lose a tremendous asset and so will we. Our children need Ms. Cindy. Inshallah we can all work together to get Ms. Cindy back!

This is not acceptable!!!! Loved seeing Mrs Cindy welcoming my daughter every morning !and would like it to continue till the end of the year

I am very disappointed with the school board, they seem to have forgotten their fudiciary responsibility to the students, families and staff of Sunrise.

We need to reinstate Cindy. She has gone above and beyond since the school was built. She cares so much for the kids and there education. Its a good feeling knowing your kids will be in good hands when she is on watch. It will be a huge mistake if this is not fixed.

Ms. Cindy is an amazing person. She is the best thing that happened to the Sunrise Academy Preschool. She truly loves the children and her staff. She has always put the students and staff needs before hers. I am truly heartbroken at the way she was treated. I pray that you see the big mistake that you are making and reinstate her immediately. The preschool will not survive without her. She is the glue that holds everything together. There is going to be an audit soon, and if the preschool do not pass it, they will most likely close down the preschool. Please, please, please, we have all worked really hard to build this program especially Ms. Cindy who worked even during the summer to ensure that everything is fine. Yah Rabb, please help us and protect Ms. Cindy and preserve Sunrise Academy! Ameen!

Ms cindy is a great director!! She loves and cares about every child in the preschool! Her staff love her! She's very respectful, hard working, patient, and caring! What more could a parent ask for! I always knew that my son was in good hands because we had a director like Ms Cindy!!! Sunrise Academy is making a huge mistake by letting a gem like Ms Cindy go!! And what saddens me the most that this one done to her by an Islamic School!!!

We need Ms. Cindy to be reinstated. We can not afford to have her leave during mid year, this is very stressful on us as parents and will effect our kids. We are paying for this private school a lot of money for random decision to be made in this manner.

Many of us enrolled our young students because we knew we could trust Cindy to care for them properly. Removing her mid-year is very disruptive to the class and only harms the students. We can no longer stand by as the Board continues to make poor leadership decisions without including the parents or considering the implications to our children.

Ms. Cindy Rasul is the reason my son attends Sunrise Academy. She puts my child’s needs, as well as other student’s needs before her own. She treats every child the same and cares for them all as her own. If not for Ms. Cindy Rasul, I do not believe my child would have gained the confidence he has, in addition to be able to portray a Muslim the way Ms. Cindy’s actions have been illustrated to him. She is the reason as parents we have learned to trust the school, and the reason we allow our son to continue his education at Sunrise Academy.
