This is ridiculous. Mike is one of the most dedicated and hard working people I know and is a true asset on City Council.

He being owner of pubs gave him unique perspective of what would help similar businesses. He should not be penalized for it! He helped many smaller local businesses that would go extinct otherwise!

We need more small business owners on council fighting for our rights. Councillor Wiebe has worked tirelessly in his roles as MPBIA chairman and now city councillor to help the Vancouver community. He shouldn't be persecuted he should be commended.

Councillor Wiebe's swift actions and expertise helped Vancouver establishments survive during trying times. There is no conflict of interest in my mind. Only a councillor with service industry experience and knowledge helping small businesses when they needed it. If they had waited any longer it would have been too late. Cheers Mike.
