We are asking the Roslyn School District make masks optional for our students. Nassau County has left this decision up to individual districts to decide. This is not an anti-mask campaign. This is is a pro-choice campaign. We respect everyone’s right to decide what measures to take for their own safety. Let’s have our kids breathe freely and smile again!:)
The feedback I receive daily highlights a diverse range of perspectives within our community on this issue. I am currently organizing the notes and personal stories shared here to ensure the district understands the full scope of our concerns during our upcoming discussions.

Reaching this level of support confirms that many families in our community share a common goal regarding student comfort. It is encouraging to see our neighbors engage in this conversation with such thoughtfulness and care for one another.

Ridiculous that we are still doing this. Let the kids breathe and see their friends faces. Enough already.

My child, my choice. Unfortunately, we have started masking up in stores again because of the numbers going up. But I think the masks in school are horrible, kids have been stunted scholastically, socially, and mentally.

Enough is enough. Let’s follow the science on how the masks hinder our children’s health both physically and mentally.
