I am a 1993 graduate of EKU. This facility has been and still is the only indoor facility that is close to my hometown of Somerset, KY, and it is a 45-minute drive each way. It would be a shame to close this facility and turn away hundreds of tennis enthusiasts and future generations of EKU alumni who might like to come back to watch tennis tournaments, charity events, or just play some tennis with family and friends. Please keep it open.

As others have said, this center is an asset to Madison County. Tennis is a lifelong sport enjoyed by many, and despite what some may think, is popular in central Kentucky. Also, if this is really about money, the tennis center can be run as a profitable business. Memberships, court rentals, and events will bring money to the university and city.

Please do not "re-purpose" these courts. TENNIS IS A SPORT FOR A LIFETIME. If anything, lets encourage more play of events there that would bring more dollars into your community and our State.

The center is a tribute to an important family in our community. It’s a vital part of our current and future athletes, and it serves as a central location to the Madison County community and the counties beyond. The center is paid for, it generates enough revenue to be self sustainable. Don’t use extra funds to turn it into something it wasn’t originally built for. Keep our center for tennis, please

Being the head coach of Lindsey Wilson, and also taking lessons from Buddy Watson as a junior. This place holds close to my heart. Coach Ortel showed nothing but class in allowing my team, being a NAIA program, come to this establishment and play. If the tennis program cannot remain, please don’t punish the community and state by taking away this center of play for tennis. Kentucky needs this now more than ever. You’re not just taking away the program but the growth this state desperately needs in tennis..

The Greg Adams tennis courts are fantastic - why screw them up by eleminating the courts! They were put there for good reasons.
