Petition ​Regarding the Appointment of the National Librarian/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the National Library of South Africa (NLSA)

We do not agree for a non librarian t head the office of the National Library south Africa

I support that only a professional should head the National Library anywhere around the world

Allow the law to take its course. Let core competent professional Librarian lead NLSA.

It's a slap on the profession of LIS for a none Librarian to be in charge of the library at any level not to mention at the national.

I protect the profession

Please adhire to our plea

We must let them know the value of our profession, and also the price they must pay.

Let the professionals, do their job.

We must uphold the dignity of our their profession and it's rule of conduct. A librarian can only head a national library, we cannot accept anything less than that. Proudly a librarian...

I am of the opinion that only professional should handle their institution.

Do not peg wrong hole in right place to prevent the right person that qualify because of politics and destroy the standard and quality best practices .
