I hope the board and minister if sports hournable Gayton MacKenzie should police the board to ensure that qualified and experienced librarian is appointment as CEO. The minister should prevent the cadre deployment. The minister have duty to ensure that qualified candidate with extensive back in library and information science is appointed

A Librarian to be qualified spends years to get their qualification. Appointment of a non Librarian to this position undermines us as librarians. This is not fair to our profession.
