It's the most important thing to me right now because I am currently in MCA 1st Year and in 2027 with a valid GATE score I want to take admission in M.Tech in CSE at Jadavpur University

I am a MCA Graduate too...and it's really hilarious to see that some from B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering is also eligible but I am not...How can they judge based on MCA...if they want they can conduct interviews like IITs but how can they just reject..??

MCA as standard masters degree should be allowed for Mtech

It should be changed. The most of the educational institutions allowed students to participate in the following the courses through GATE..

Equal opportunity should be provided.

It's not fair, it's a shame.

JU should allow MCA passout candidates in M.Tech admission through GATE 2026 and onwards.

We need to stand against this hypocrisy.

Yes, If many institutions are following this rule then Jadavpur University Should also allow MCA students for M.Tech.
