Petition: Reduce fee for JESS

Just want to be in line with other schools

I am fully aligned I can’t understand how it’s only 10% the operational cost

We are all in the same boat. We are all facing 50 percent cut on our income (some lost their jobs) and we want the same on our expenses.

We need more discount as both I and my husband are on unpaid leave for next 6 months. Please reconsider 10% discount to a higher level.

Please consider a 20% fee reduction in line with other schools

Due to the current circumstances most breadwinners are on more than a 10% paycut. JESS should reconsider their offer and propose a more realistic offer.

We are facing very difficult times , hope school can support us in these challenging times

I would appreciate and expect JESS to lower the fees for this term by a minimum of 25-35%. We are in unexpected circumstances. We are struggling to pay our bills with pay cuts across the board. Offering a fee reduction of only 10% is completely undesirable. The children will not be returning to school until September, hence the school will be saving a lot in terms of maintenance, utilities, pool and of course some rent as well.

These are unprecedented and challenging times for all of us as parents of kids that are at JESS and of course the staff and governing body at JESS. Whilst we can not dictate the discount that JESS is prepared to offer to all of us signing this petition, we are simply stating that your offer of a 10% discount during these extenuating circumstances does not reflect the gravity and seriousness of what we are facing, be it layoffs, demand & supply shocks in our business, is just not adequate. A 30~50% reduction would significantly ease our collective burden and I humbly request you to give my suggestion your utmost and due consideration. Thank you.

The rationale and basis for signing this petition has been communicated to Jess senior management already

With the considerable salary reductions (up to 50%) we were expecting at least up to a 40% reduction on Term 3 fees. We all would appreciate a readjusted discount to truly reflect what many families are capable of paying during these uncertain times.
