Petition Opposing the Oakwood Lane Subdivision Development

Country Club/Diamond Rock Rds are already congested and very dangerous and any additional traffic will make it even more so.

This can not happen. It will destroy the community. It will make traffic horrible especially for those living on Oakwood lane

Please don't let this happen preserve nature as it was meant to be. This will be a negative impact to our community

This proposed development would severely destroy the currently peaceful area and natural habitat. More importantly, the increased traffic will strain the safety and capacity of the narrow local roads causing backups and increased danger on roads. Widening of the roads or adding additional wider roads would only diminish the country feeling of the area. Public services, such as road maintenance, PECO, and Aqua, are already significantly strained and are challenged to keep up with power outages, burst water lines and more. Re-zoning would be unfair to the many longtime residents in the immediate area. Please do not approve such a plan! With gratitude for your attention to our concerns.

This subdivision will make my home unsafe and unlivable, as we are already lacking sufficient stormwater management and my home and a few others on lower Jug Hollow are in the flood zone. We are already in the way of danger as it is — add in more homes directly uphill of us, and our homes become unlivable. This is also a lovely area with sprawling habitat for our local wildlife — it would be devastating to take that away, as every creature deserves a place to eat and take shelter. Money can’t buy back our beautiful landscape, ecosystem and my personal safety in my home — once it has been taken away, it’s gone forever.

This construction project would damage the environment in Valley Forge National Park's beautiful residential area. Absolutely disagree with the plan and cannot imagine having that population and causing major traffic and problems. It will definitely destroy the everything ab out living in this neighborhood.

This construction project would not only stress the already strained infrastructure but damage the environment and risk the wells around as well as septic systems.

This request comes very close to my property. It was my understanding that a minimum of 60 feet is required for any adjacent property. I oppose this development.

The road for this development abuts our property thereby changing our home value for the negative.

Really bad idea, for so many reasons.

Let's please continue to preserve open space until we are bitter served by a bikepaths and public transit

Stop this nonesense

If this goes up, I will be thrown out of the home that I’ve been renting for years so that people can live in luxury apartments on top of each other. It’s no way to live.

There are so many reason. One being the traffic and current roads. Another is the denseness of the population with townhouses, etc.

The roads can't handle it. Why should we have to suffer at someone else's profit that doesn't have to suffer the consequences. Sadly, the township supervisors would love to see the increased tax revenue.

Absolutely not. This can't happen. Oakwood Lane cannot handle this kind of traffic. This is a quiet mountain community. No way can they pack 60 houses in that space. How about 10 max. I wont agree to anything more. Totally unrealistic to think adding 60 houses won't ruin and disrupt the community. Township needs to stop this.

For the benefit of the community, we should protect this area as open space rather than allow more development.

What are zoning regulations for if not to prevent the development of a property that is totally out of character for where it is proposed? How is this going to impact traffic safety on our small roads with limited visibility?

I agree with the opinions stated above as to why this would be a bad idea
