Winter was freezing. Heating should be up to us and not them as we live here.

MY toilet flush was not working for a couple of months. Had "experts" in my flat every week but the were not capable of sorting the issue. Asked for reparation payment and got the answer that, "we don't offer that". I choosed a en suit accomodation and I payed the price for an en suit room. They obviously broke our agreed contract by not observing the stated rules. Not even mentioning the ongoing issues regarding heating, wifi, washing machines and warm water. I'll definitely take the appropriate legal measures cause this is a baseness.

The heat radiator decoded to come loose and flood our kitchen floor. There was so much water that it went into the hallway. All of the residences of the flat were away for the weekend, but we were somehow blamed for not reporting the incident.

Everything is falling apart. The unviersity seems to find any reason to get us fined. Most of the problems with the building seem to have come from poor planning and a lack of funding. If the University had invested in long term interior items maybe most of these problems would not have occurred.

I don't stay at Bainfield but I have heard the horrors. Student accommodations should be a place where people feel safe to live. They should be clean and well maintained. I don't mean it should be a 5 star establishment but it should be livable by current standards.

bedroom was freezing over the coldest months in winter even through several complaints nothing was done about it. One of the cookers in our kitchen does not stay on for more than 30seconds at a time yet still nothing has been done to rectify this. Shower floods as well and I am left with pools of water in my bathroom floor. No way is it worth £595 per month!

my bathroom floor levels is off and I have to deal with a pool of water after showers. The Wi-Fi works when it wants to and the radiators don't do much. I Bainfield is better than other places but its £595 a month

I find it absolutely shocking that we have had no compensation for the hassle in bainfield when it was no fault of our own. Not only the water but the wifi service is very poor aswell.

Our daughter is studying as a masters student with accomodation at Bainfield, with the cost of this facilitythe basics of hotwater to shower as part of the ensuite facility should be there as a basic need. To be informed that fac ilities to shower where available at at gym facility off the site is unaccetable and as is the fact that the students will not be compensated, a reduction of the rent should be offered

My son is at Bainfield and has been paying a lot of money per month for the privelidge. His towel rail fell off in the first few weeks and his office chair legs broke and he has been sitting on it like it is a pogo stick for MONTHS even though he has repeatedly asked for it to be fixed. Now there are water problems. Just what are we paying for here? I want an answer.

Received this reply when enquiring about compensation: "I appreciate that there has been a sporadic loss of hot water. We are working to have this resolved. There are showering facilities at Engage gym located at both Craiglockart and Sighthill campuses. We will not issue any form of compensation for temporary loss of hot water."
