We are paying almost 600£ to stay in flats without hot water. It'll be ridiculous if we have to pay the full amount of rent next month when we're not getting what we're paying for. My flat are unwell and showering in freezing cold water is not helping at all. Not everyone has time to go to campuses and shower - plus that's just out of the way and kind of weird to do as well.

Ridiculous. I have no shower curtain, hot water, or towel rail and the windows open barely enough to work. I reported not having any shower curtain and was basically told that they don't care and it won't be fixed. Definitely being ripped off living here
This is just one of many issues we've had to put up with. There has been multiple occasions where i have felt let down by this accomodation in their efforts t provide what we pay a lot of money for.

We should at least get one weeks rent back, water has been dodgy for well over a week!

Considering the amount I pay a month on rent, as well as the chance of a £25 fine for merely having a poster on my wall or losing a fob (which seems built to break considering 2 of my 8 flatmates fobs aren't snapped in any way) I would expect to have running water after 5 days of workers fiddling with it. Also my flat has only one working oven hob in a flat of 8, after reporting it numerous times with contractors coming to the flat on 3 separate occasions to fix it. We have since been told that it could have to wait till we move out to be fixed however we were offered no alternative. Another issue is the abrupt removal of our privacy with the heavy work being done a few feet away from the bainfield buildings, we have nowhere about the site to relax bar our hotel-like rooms - personally would love to know whose idea it was to build a recreational area one year and replace it with a school the next - obviously not much could've been done about it but when you're paying £600 a month for such a high standard of accommodation with a canal view etc, you expect what you pay for. Sincerely, sick of being robbed by Napier
