This is not a good thing for those kids to be together. They deserve a new school just like any one else. They shouldn't have to be rooted up from their school nor their home. Tell me this why they have to suffer? None of the other schools had to merge. I don't think it is right at all.

This need to stop. All our young black babies will be uneducated. With no jobs n labeled as no good people. What they are doing to Mae Eans n Williamson is so wrong n low down.

This merger makes no sense. Merging these babies with young adults will not work. Merging two failing schools together is only setting these kids up for failure.

11 and 12 years old has no business in the same social environment as 18 year olds. This is a social experience where the kids will suffer

I am a product of Mae Eanes Middle and Lillie B. Williamson High School. I think enough has been said therefore, I digress. However, start a petition to remove Martha Peek. It is apparent that she doesn't care about all the children.

Let's keep praying and standing up for what is right! I believe that it is already done in Jesus name!

I went to Mae Eanes as a child & this school has history here. I think it would be a very very bad idea to merge this school with high schooler's. Considering the fact that you'll have some student's leaving elementary merging with teenager's & some young adults I don't think they're mentally ready to be in that environment. I think they should be bussed to other schools so that they may learn & grow amongst their peers.

Merging middle school kids with high school would cause more problems than imaginable.

I personally think that merging two failing schools together is a setup for my community. I graduated from Williamson High School in 1999. After graduation while attending college I work as a Substitute Teacher at Williamson. Students were more engaged and respectful. I later returned back to Williamson in 2009, the students and staff were totally different. It was hard keeping teachers at both schools since Mae Eanes is the feeder school for Williamson. Unfortunately students in this Era of time would not socially succeed with one another. I believe that both schools would continue to fail. Williamson's building is not in better shape than Mae Eanes. Too much federal money have slipped away from both schools! It's time out for failing our students and community. Don't give up on our children because they deserve a fair chance at learning in safe, clean and well staffed school.

Why only black schools be closed? Why black children be bus to white neighborhood? Why white children not bus to black neighorhood

The combination of Williamson High School & Mae Eanes Middle School is unacceptable.

This is too much to merge these children who are learning too much too fast by following the footsteps of older kids, I realize they have to attend school, but let it be among their peers not a 9-10 grade person, if you look at our young girls, they are developing very fast and they could be easily persuaded in areas that they are not ready for yet just trying to fit in or wanting to be older than what they really are. so why not snip it before it even gets started. Ms. Peek does not understand the grave danger(the older environment) that she is putting these children in.

I dont feel that these 2 schools need to be combined. This will escalate teen pregnancy and the drop out rate.
