I attended Mae Eanes Middle School and our school has been put on the back burner for years. The educational system has failed us time and time again, and closing the school is not the best solution! We deserve a quality education and infrastructure just like every other school in the MCPSS. Look at all the other schools that have received several face-lifts and better technology in the classrooms and we're left with the hand-me-downs.

Closing This school is not the answer to fixing the problem....y'all have failed to provide these kids with a clean safe environment to learn and wonder why the enrollment is low...

If mcpss and the state put more emphasis on education, programs that has been cut, money to update the schools, most definitely locating trained teachers and pay them their, this would'nt be an issue.

These two schools have been around for many years. I myself attended both school & graduate from both. I have great memories with both & really think that both parents & teachers need to get involved. Please reconsider & save both schools. These kids need a better environment . Just rebuild the school & come up with a better solution to improve both schools. Parents also need to step up & take responsibility over there kids. Get more involved

As a former Mae Eanes student, I honestly think this merge is a train wreck waiting to happen.
