We must think of future generations. While a lot of agricultural land might be sitting dormant at the moment, this might not be the case years down the road as the population grows and there are more hungry people to feed.

Please save our farm land. Do not waste the land on homes! People can live anywhere , food does not grow anywhere!

There are many areas of downtown Aldergrove that could be renovated or developed without cutting into Agricultural land!

ALR land is valuable and rare...Aldergrove/Langley is not capable of handling long term growth...infrastructure is old, an elementary school has closed, land developed to pool, traffic congestion on Fraser Highway from Abbotsford to 264 St is unreal....my question is why are we being asked these questions when it’s most likely a done deal...Township of Langley upper management are gonna do whatever it is to do what they need to do to move development forward...but I still sign this petition because once it’s gone it’s gone and hopefully somewhere I the ALR remains a person with common sense...residential development is not always the answer when infrastructure is undeveloped...oh too forgot to mention...one hospital and we’ll over capacity...

this land contains the headwaters for Bertrand creek and is Critical habitat as defined in the federal recovery strategy for Salish sucker. These waters and suporting flooded wintering channels need to be prtotected.

Please keep this land in the ALR. No to more development.

I agree that we need to preserve our farm lands.

Farmland lost is irreplaceable. We need farmland for food security. The Bertrand Creek and its tributaries must be protected as well.

Please stop the destruction of the ALR farmland in the Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland generally. It’s wrong-headed, short-sighted and will lead to an irrevocable loss of the wonderful rural- and semi-rural character of our neighbourhoods. Not to mention, a diminishing of our local food security.

ALR land is for farming/food production. The fact that it has sat this long without being used is a shame. The owner can sell as ALR land and hopefully this land can finally be used by its next owner for farming.

Current infrastructure will not support the increased congestion. It is too congested as it is currently.

We need to preserve our farmland and natural areas, rather than paving them. Pursuing the long term Aldergrove plan would be a better use of TOL money.

We need to stop taking good land out of the ALR because someone wants to make a buck

I do not support removing this property from the ALR. We loose enough farmland every year to development.

Fix the highway before you consider buiding houses on farmland!
