I moved to this area to get away from the busier areas and I definitely do not want ALR land to be rezoned for development.

Every acre of ALR is vitally important to food security to feed the thousands more every month who come to metro Vancouver. Depending on importing food is unreliable as those other areas experience once in a century, once in a decade etc. droughts, floods, fires and they have diminished lands to grow food.

Preserve ALR. Stop overbuilding communities that no one can afford there is not enough infrastructure as it is.

we Live directly across the St (,on 33rd Ave.)from this land .On PURPOSE!, Aldergrove cannot take any more development !.It is habitat & home to much wildlife,Owls Hawks EAGLES ( with NESTS), Coyotes, Beavers,and many other birds, snakes, rabbits, ..Although this may not be the concern of ALC ,WE the people who live here, find it outrageous that the land would be taken out of ALR. It is Already OVER populated in the(literally) surrounding area.UNLIKE langley- There are NOT loveley parks & greenspace for people to walk dogs,& Be in nature ,-not to mention - the negative Imact that deveopment will surely have - on the Animals at the very nearby ZOO . PLEASE leave this last bit of nature,greenspace ,in the ALR -

Removal of this land from the ALR will negatively impact the community of Aldergrove leading to urban sprawl. Current planning indicates the revitalization of the downtown core which currently has many vacant and under developed properties in need of development. In addition the land in question provides extensive habitat for endangered fish (salish sucker) and amphibians (oregon spotted frog) as part of the Bertrand creek system and headwaters.

This property is the home of many beautiful animals and endangered species, it would be a crime against nature to develope it. I have live across from this land since 1988. So sad.

I am VERY concerned by the number of properties like this one being removed from the ALR and turned into rows of houses. That land has been 'reserved' for agricultural purposes, and removing it to be used for any other reason is a disgrace.
