Turbines were installed near my hometown in NE PA. Most of the time they do not run because wind conditions are not right. They are visible for miles and are an eyesore.

Local residents should have every right to voice an opinion if they want or don't want the turbines. This should not be forced on the citizens. If I didn't want to see the stars at night and the beautiful landscape I would be living in the city.

It is unjust to expect the citizens of Kent County or anyplace to bear the burden of such an undertaking without the ability to decide for themselves if this is feasable for the county.

Please pass Senate Bill 938 immediatey. Someting as important to our daily lives must be considered by us properly and not "permitted" preemtively.

it's important that local community and conservation voices have an opportunity to participate in the decision.

This project needs input from the community and it is way too big for this area! I am in favor of wind energy, but not in this manner or under these circumstances.

Project is much too large for our small county.

I vigorously oppose allowing Apex Energy to bypass local government in its bid to install destructive wind turbines in Kent COunty

I have a home in Chestertown and pay taxes to the town, state and county. I have seen the destructive results of these windturbines in Western Maryland and vehemently abhor any such developments in or near Kent County!

The proposed wind turbines will surely impact the waterfowl that this part of the nation relies on as an economic engine and it will most assuredly place an unsightly and unavoidable pockmark on the rural landscape of northern Kent County. The consistency of open space and farmland is the main reason people move to Kent County. To move toward the out-of-control sprawl philosophy of Middletown DE is poison to the whole of the Eastern Shore. Put the turbines off shore not in our backyard.

I support the turbines, but the lack of citizen input and dialogue is not how our state and country operates.

These wind turbines would totally destroy the serenity of the area so I encourage everyone to support Senate Bill 938.

I support alternative power sources, but ANY 500 foot wind turbine is an obscene proposal for Kent County. I am totally opposed.
