im still reading through all the comments you guys are leaving and its clear everyone is worried about how this impacts our local land. we have been putting pressure on the offices over in annapolis and im going to keep pushing until someone gives us a real answer.

this is honestly blowing my mind and showing just how many people care about our land. the momentum is building and its clear we arent going to stop until they listen to us.

As a Realtor in Kent County this will negatively affect Real Estate values and harm the tourist industry that the County depends on, and bringing home buyers and retirees to Kent County
This project has the potential for encompassing up to 16 square miles of land mass, almost 6% of the total land mass of Kent County. A totally out of proportion project for the community at large. This is so wrong on so many different levels.
As the CEO of Benchworks a rapidly growing business headquartered in Kent County I strongly oppose this project as it will spoil one of the last great open spaces to be found in the Delmarva.
I reside in Kennedyville, Maryland and I would be directly impacted by this proposed construction. I find it absolutely amazing that such a construction would be considered without public meetings and comments from local government and residents.
I am the first to stand up for alternative energy. However, the way this is being railroaded through so an energy company can make a profit without consulting landowners that it would affect is beyond infuriating.
There are too many negatives to this whole proposed project that have not yet been addressed. The Public Service Commission should NOT have the final "say" on this project.
These are so disruptive and hideous that even the pro alternative energy/environmentalist Senator Ted Kennedy led the fight to stop them off the Massachusetts coast.

Kent County's duly elected Commissioners need to have a say in this proposed construction. Are we part of a representative democracy in Maryland or not? Please pass this bill and allow our local citizens a role in this local matter.
