Need to revive motarsports in Fiji

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to drag race my father used to race in them

This is an actual good timing for this since alot of younger generation can learn alot....we uncs used to do it before...plus tourists would love this...as a drag racing happens worldwide so let's make this happen

I’m fully in support of this petition. As a car enthusiast, I believe organized drag racing is more than just speed, it’s passion, community, and discipline. Fiji has so many talented drivers and builders who’ve put their heart, time, and money into their cars, only to have no proper venue to express it. Since the Nanuku Airstrip closed, the car scene has been struggling and people have been pushed into unsafe, illegal street races, not because they want to break the law, but because there’s simply no legal platform left for us. Bringing back organized drag racing under the right regulations will create a safe environment, promote tourism, support local businesses, and give the youth a positive outlet for their love of cars. We’re not asking for chaos, we’re asking for a chance, a space to race legally, safely, and proudly. It’s time for LTA and the authorities to stand with the community and bring the motorsport culture back to life. Fiji deserves it.
