Playing fields are for playing, not building. This area is congested enough without more houses and cars.

NO to developers. Do Not build more flats and ruin hadleigh even more. It's a school field so leave it that way for the children.

FGS how ridiculous and greedy is this proposal?

This proposal defies logic. A new school was the original requirement and this has now changed to more houses to fund a sports and leisure facility in a residential area which has major negative impact on the residents and local infrastructure. No.

Hadleigh doesn't need more houses it needs more infrastructure

I have grave concerns with regards to infrastructures that are not in place for the extra homes, the congestion of traffic this will cause to an already busy area along with the impacts this will have on the young children who attend the local schools

We need to stop selling off our green spaces, we cannot get these back once they’re gone. Renovate other areas instead.

So this field was given by John Burroughs as gift of deed ( or the other way round) not for housing. We have a massive park with three massive fields why can’t they use that. Maybe they will come back with no changing facility’s, but they knocked it down as they were to lazy to maintain it. They have allowed houses to be built on green belt so there will be no doctors, dentist or transport to these extra families. Roads are terrible, traffic chaos. Maybe these councillors should ask the residents on their views as it concerns them on a daily basis

What a shame that yet more of our children’s open space is ear marked for yet more houses. What a shame that our little people will look out of classroom windows at a housing estate, rather than ‘their’ field. What a shame that we need to squeeze more cars on to our over populated roads; squeeze more people in to our over populated supermarkets and GP Surgery when it is already almost impossible to get an appointment.

I think it awful to take green spaces from schools. With our population ever increasing the space will be needed to accommodate more classrooms and playing areas

This is a complete waste. The juniors need a superior bigger school & that was always the intended plan for the school field.
Disappointed that the juniors is now being run as a business....

We were informed a few years ago that this field was for the building of a new junior school as the present junior school is so old and totally inadequate. What happened to that promise? We need a new school not a football pitch, so much for the benefit for the children of the community.

This proposed development is clearly NOT in the childrens interest , just for profit yet again.

Full opposition to housing development, there are already over 200 new homes being built 500 meters up the road from here and the Hadleigh already cannot cope with the influx of cars and all the doctors surgeries are oversubscribed.

I went to School at both infants & junior School, we had all of our PE lessons, outdoor exploration, girls football, trained for County Athletics etc on those fields, no way should they be developed on.

No words needed, this is another example of lining developers pockets at the expense of the locals...and in this instance, local children. Shocking!
