There is far too much housing development taking place with too little attention being paid to infrastructure, pollution levels and lack of open spaces.

The proposed 4G floodlit pitch and 2 dance studios with changing rooms built on a school playing field is a blatant commercial proposition and has no consideration or benefit to the local community or students of either the junior or infant school. The HJS and local residents have resided side by side in harmony for over 100 years. This ridiculous proposal is set to now ruin that relationship.

I an a resident of Rectory Close and strongly oppose the plan for a floodlit all weather football pitch plus changing facilities for private hire on the playing field. My reasons have been forwarded to Cllr. Reeves.

Build a new junior school there or leave playing fields for children to enjoy.

The Junior School should be built on this land if anything, not more houses.
It would make sense to combine the schools and maybe build on the Junior School site instead.

Whoever agrees to this outrageous crime against the children of Hadleigh needs hanging. What a waste of time in going to the meeting at Hadleigh Juniors, only to find that the promises made was again all LIES.

I am completely stunned at this application. Essex County Council you should be ashamed. What about investing into the infrastructure of Hadleigh Junior School. The children would benefit in investment into their school not a floodlit 4G football pitch???

Clearly the persons involved in this ridiculous idea do not live in the vicinity of Hadleigh. The current school is falling to pieces, the infrastructure is clearing non existent and there is no consideration for the current pupils or residence. The children have a beautiful field to play on, there is no need to ruin what tiny piece of 'green' left in our lovely Hadleigh

This development deal has not had any thoughts to the knock on effect to schooling, parking / traffic, healthcare. Although sports is a great idea for the field, the academy should get their priorities right and concentrate on the building of the school as well as the education of the children of Hadleigh Junior School
