Get rid of Common Core. It is very obvious the dollar incentive is more important to N.C. than the proper education of our children. Gov. McCrory is a huge disappointment to me and this Great State. All he ever does is pat himself on his back for jobs. Our future is in our children, they are our greatest asset for the future. The. Gov. is just another politician.

This program was not properly studied before voting for it, the money was the incentive and seems more important than our children. I pulled my son out of public school because of Common Core.

I have boys who are in 3rd and 6th grades. They are very bright boys, not geniuses, just intelligent boys. Both are struggling with this Common Core nonsense. Think about this: we put men on the moon and achieved other great and wonderful scientific and technological advances -- all without Common Core. Let's abolish this monstrosity before it ruins a whole generation of our kids.

Pat, Have you seen the math and the way they teach it? I know that's not how you learned, and if you have looked at it, at first glance, you were probably confused. Don't do this to these children. My daughter already hates school and she is only 1st grade. Common Core has taken the fun learning experiences out of the classroom and replaced it with gibberish.

Common Core is the dissemination of education for the purpose of the Peoples enslavement. Stop it or be know for what you stand.

Stop common core this is cheating our kids of a healthy relationship with education . We must be our childrens advocate in getting common core out of our schools.

I have had the experience of watching my son struggle with Common Core math concepts. Then I teach him the way I was taught that made sense from 1929! Guess what? He can do it the old way just fine and understands it. This "Common Core" might work in Russia, but it has no place here.

Get rid of Common Core ASAP.
