Peeves the Poltergeist was a mischievous ghost character from the Harry Potter universe that made many jokes towards the students of Hogwarts. Though the character never made an appearance in any of the Harry Potter movies despite appearing in all 7 of the books, he was originally meant to appear in the 1st film played by Rik Mayall, and 1 or 2 scenes were actually filmed of him. Sadly though, Rik's scenes were cut from the film, and have never been released by Warner Bros. in any form as of February 2015, 14 years after the film was released. After the death of Rik Mayall last year, it only seems appropriate now to have these scenes released to the public. This petition has been made to persuade Warner Bros. to show us the footage that many fans of the Harry Potter franchise have wanted to see for years.
