We are upheld to rigorous standards for a reason. No-one knows what standard PAs are held to, including PAs themselves!

You cannot present data like you did at the EGM. It is irrelevant what the issue is about, you are there to represent members, and you need to do that fairly when you ask for their voice.

I am deeply concerned about the way the EGM was executed without due process to answering all questions to allow appropriate debate. I am still further worried about the reasons to not pause the rollout of PA’s seems to be financial reputation of the college over and above patient safety and the future of our trainees

RCP have held a closed meeting in which they gave a misleading interpretation of their own survey, didn’t answer questions about financial conflicts of interest and refused to reflect on the concerns of their membership. Sarah has got to go.

The RCP leadership ought to be ashamed of their betrayal of UK doctors and the general public.

The RCP has lost my vote and my confidence entirely. I have asked all my colleagues to cease all ties with them and the vast majority are on board. They have put money ahead of patient safety.

The deputy registrar resigning having been in post relatively breifly is not sufficient to account for what has been scandalous governance of the college from the top. The RCP registrar must resign to have any hope of restoring a sense of credibility both on a domestic and international level.

RCP doesn't represent my views with regards to PA project and I don't feel there was enough opportunity to share breadth of concerns on that very restrictive feedback that was sent out prior to EGM.
