The huge commuter shuttle buses are crowding Highway 280 at all hours, but especially at peak travel times, making it extremely dangerous to drive in a regular car anywhere between Redwood City and San Francisco.

I did not appreciate a corporate bus stopping at !9th and Kirkham and blocking all rush hour traffic from Kirkham turning onto Northbound 19th.

Buses are shutting down 24th Street. Besides double parked delivery trucks and shuttle buses, cars can no longer drive on 24th Street.

I often see buses with very few people inside; please consider smaller buses. Also our small streets are not meant to accommodate large buses; they should be on the main thoroughfares only.

These gigantic things are roaring through historic residential neighborhoods with hardly any passengers by the time the torment the Castro. Have them instead use (and support) public transit within city limits (or at least coordinate with each other to share buses so there's less impact on the neighborhood)

The situation only grows more dire. In five months during 2016, ridership soared from 8,500 to 9,800 (SFMTA, "Commuter Shuttle Hub Study," 11/2016)with a consequential increase of 30 more buses to accommodate that surge.

something must be done asap to relieve neighborhoods most affected from these ghost giant buses, many of which are half empty. environmental impacts have to be considered.

If Ed Lee wouldve said NO to these environmentally deplorable and street clogging monstrous busses, SV might've invested in CalTrain, MUNI and BART, and it could've been a win for EVERYONE.

Removing or limiting access for these shuttles will only cause more traffic jams in our already tight city. Please don't do this :(

The photo pretty much says it all. This is a tech only corridor until some steps are taken to change that situation. Glad I don't live there any more.

Every day, as I look out my front window facing Sutter and Hyde Streets, I see the gigantic Bauer's so-called "Intelligent Transportation" buses heading west on Sutter Street, belching fumes.
Comically, while SFMTA claims they have taken thousands of cars off of the roads with the Commuter Shuttle Bus program, those removed cars have simply been replaced with Lyft, Uber, and other ride-hail cars. There's been absolutely NO reduction of cars on the streets of San Francisco, and the shuttle buses obstruct disabled Muni passengers like me from being safely able to disembark from Muni buses in red zones.
The Shuttle Bus program needs to be completely eliminated!

These shuttles block access to MUNI bus stops, imperilling people with disabilities and parents with very young children.

Living on the first block of Duncan and trying to drive--and even cross at unprotected marked pedestrian crossings-- Guerrero/San Jose are overwhelmed with am and pm tech buses. The other night four crossed in the same direction on the same green light. Safeguards for residents are necessary.

Our voices were ignored when we asked the city to re-consider a proposed stop in front of our home. This program and its city management need an overhaul.

These buses do not belong on narrow congested streets. Smaller shuttles bringing residents to larger hubs/terminals to the South Bay are needed. CCSF needs to study the impact these buses have on neighborhoods, including rents, local businesses, displacement, and environmental issues such as clean air. The larger buses block 4 lanes of traffic trying to take a right turn, causing idling and congestion and unsafe streets for pedestrians trying to navigate around these behemoths. Bike lanes are blocked. These large buses have no business in small neighborhood streets.

Shuttles need to be out of the neighborhoods. Move them to a hub on the South end of town - maybe by Caltrain and the T-line. The shuttle routes are a major gentrifying force. Housing cost impact here shows the true effect of letting San Francisco be the bedroom community of choice for Silicon Valley. The Mission is dying under the weight of this imported wealth and it's arrogant culture.

The buses are turning our communities into dangerous and polluted highways! Maybe stopping the buses would ease the housing shortage? This isn't working—so try reducing the problem!
