This is obscene! When will it stop?! My lovely Noe Valley apartment now has these monsters roaring outside my window from 5:30am til 11am or so! The beautiful garden that the entire neighborhood used to enjoy now cannot be seen, because of the need for a huge solid fence. They line up like zombies--it makes me sick to wake to. Show some decency and construct (you can afford it!) TERMINALS OUTSIDE people's neighborhoods, hey...like all other means of transit other than public! Really San Francisco--are you going to let yourselves be bullied by this disgusting financial manipulation, to the detriment of those who ACTUALLY live here?! ENOUGH!

I have a photo (one of many) of a commuter shuttle bus idling in front of my building in noe valley. my building is NOT on the 24th, church or castro street transit corridors. when i went to take the photo, the bus driver put it in gear and drove off.

On my way/back to/from work, It is impossible to use the bike lanes on valencia because the shuttles are parked in the bike lanes to pick up employees.

Large buses for each tech company loop through neighborhoods morning to evening. A Potrero Hill MUNI stop on 17th St was removed and replaced with a tech bus stop. I did not see notification for residents or a chance to give input.

Use smaller shuttles to ferry passengers to a pick up location where the bigger busses are.

The private buses are a nuisance & cause great damage to SF streets & the spirit of SF : Take the MUNI, BART, SMART TRAIN, FERRIES, BICYCLES, USE YOUR FEET & ditch elite transportation. SF Business esp. Tech Cos. should pay add'l taxes to fund street maintenance and public transportation.

The large buses transporting employees to their workplace(s) should NOT use neighborhood streets that are for residents, local business deliveries and shoppers. Another route should be designated that does not disrupt the community.

These buses are too large for the city, -are a safety hazard, and are tearing up the streets! The street surfaces are the worst I have ever experienced in my 25 years of motorcycle riding in the city.
They are also turning SF into a bedroom community, for people who may otherwise live in the area which they work!

The shuttle buses provide a valuable service if they reduce the number of cars on the road with only one occupant. However, the shuttle buses must be required to travel on non-Muni routes so that they don't block access to Muni stops and don't delay Muni buses and streetcars. Also, the shuttle companies must pay a fee that fully compensates the city for their negative impact, such as exhaust pollution and road deterioration, even if a change in state law is necessary before the city levies the fee.

Come to the SFMTA Board hearing re: Commuter Shuttle bus program @ City Hall, 1 p.m. Tuesday Feb, 21st and give your 2 minute public comment.

One stopp for these humongous buses is directly by James Lick Schoolyard. It creates bad air for the children playing there. Also, these buses roll down 24th street between Diamond and Dolores adding to the noise and fumes of our shopping area, our outdoor cafes and restaurants. Why can they not use 26th street instead.

According to the Sept. SFMTA report, there are 16 "shuttle" operators — Bauer, Storer, WeDriveU, Lux, Royal Coach Tours, etc., etc.. It is doubtful that many of them are based in SF proper. (The research on this could easily be done.) The city's only remuneration is the $7 fee for the use of the public stops. Some operators avoid this fee by delaying registration or not registering at all. The income from it can only be used for administering the "Shuttle" program.

The damage to our streets by running these shuttle services needs to be addressed. Are the shuttle service companies paying SF city taxes to deal with such damage?
