The is a perfect opportunity for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, Nation Archery in the Schools Program, and the UIL to all work together for the betterment for the kids in Texas! The TPWD already runs regional and state competitions. To have it sanctioned bby the UIL would again allow our kids the opportunity to participate in archery activities for their entire 4 years of the high school education experience at little costs to school districts. There would be no extra work for the UIL to do, simply adopt the rules and guidelines already in place with NASP.
