Dear Lunartics,

We all know that our favourite books from the Lunar chronicles will at some point become a popular TV series. Although the script hasn't been finished yet, Marissa Meyer is trying out different writers and companies so things ARE happening. We all also know that when a filming company starts making the movies, the actors that will be casted are those that we already know and those that previously featured in other films. Personally, I don't think this is fair! I THINK THAT WE NEED NEW FACES! NEW YOUNG ACTORS, THAT MATCH THE DESCRIPTION OF OUR CHARACTERS!

So many of us are talented;the only thing that we lack is opportunity. How are these young people supposed to become actors? How will they achieve their dreams? Do you know how many times I walk outside and see a person who looks like one of my favourite characters from the Lunar chronicles?! SO MANY TIMES. What if that person wants to become an actor? They are not likely to get their chance. THE CASTINGS NEED TO BE OPEN WORLDWIDE TO EVERYONE INCLUDING TEENAGERS so that our heroes are portrayed in the way that they deserve to be and so that new talent can be noticed!

I plan to give this petition to Marissa Meyer and the filming company that will take responsibility for the TV series.
