I use the track here almost every day. I would be greatly upset to see it made private property.

This has been in my mind since the school was damaged by the roof collapse. It is ideal and has the infrastructure for expanded rec facilities that we REALLY need in the area. Be smart. Don't trade off what we need most for what we want now.

Our region and entire country needs premiere athletic facilities and places for residents to maintain and increase the amount of physical activity. The County should support the Town's long-standing desire to redevelop this area with an improved, expanded regional recreation facility with both indoor and outdoor amenities - connected right to our neighborhoods and numerous paths, sidewalks, etc.

I live in a sub division close. People young and old are there walking ,running being in the green all hours of the day! Please please use it for recreation and play- bravo to the town of Blacksburg for trying to buy it for this purpose.

Please leave the open space as a place where people can gather, enjoy sports or just lay down a blanket and have a nice picnic. We need more of these kinds of places for these activities. Thank you very much!
