I agree with this petition. Attempting to play 55+ during the daytime has not been possible because of the number of players who work. Also, having the 55+ league overlap the 18+ league has not been ideal. I am on 3 teams simultaneously and there are just too many matches. I would like to be able to participate in both 18+ and 55+ again next season, but I most likely won't unless we revert to the previous scheduling. Thanks.

Too much “misuse” of intended “ease” of flexible schedules. Also, a lot of people still working weekdays. Too much work for captains to reschedule-it’s not fair to them. Too many leagues overlapping or playing at the same time. Those of us (retired) playing in club tennis are finding it hard to secure courts during weekdays. It’s pretty frustrating to pay club fees but not have any courts to play on. Go back to the yearly schedules Jud Lee worked out!

I am retired and can play any time, however this format without the whole team playing at the same time has been frustrating to all involved and a nightmare for the captains. Way too many switches to keep up what a scheule.

Many of us are not retired yet and cannot play a match during the day. If we could please return to the previous format I would greatly appreciate it.

It is entirely too hard. Would not do this again. Thinking of pulling my current team

I don't know very many people 55-65 who aren't still working full time jobs. I find the format to be discriminatory against those of us who work full time. The flex schedule is extremely burdensome and I know it's a huge lift for my captain. It's impossible for me to play the daytime matches and now I have to hold my breath to ensure that we can get the match rescheduled at a time that works for FOUR individuals. I understand more daytime matches for 65+ but I don't feel it's appropriate for 55+. I am dreading 55+ mixed season for the same reason. I urge you to reconsider this format for future leagues.

The current weekday schedule is untenable for players, captains and even the local league coordinator

This format has been a nightmare for the captains. We have not been able to play as a team.

This has been a disaster. As a captain it has been very time consuming!

This format has removed the community aspect of tennis which is a large part of why we play. This format has created an atmosphere of exclusion and discrimination against working players, and there are many who work. As a captain, this has been nothing short of a nightmare.

This format has been a nightmare for scheduling. It has put extra stress on the captains which as you know do this in a volunteer position which has turned into a full time job.

I feel that the rescheduling was hard on everyone.
